Quick Tips

1.  Don't Count Each Person for an Individual Invitation who are Couples or Families -
Wow that's some extra Keepsakes...yet don't be short.

2.  Save-the-date card is good when many guests need to plan for trip to attend wedding.
This card should be sent 5 months before the wedding.  Also include information regarding accommodations, travel agent or other special info.

3. When to order Invitations... Should be ordered when all details of the ceremony & reception
have been confirmed. 3-4 months lead time is good! Or Sooner. Remember your REPLY date.
And still allows time if something was wrong (rare).  Reprint would be shipped at earliest ship date @ n/c.

4.  When ordering be sure to order enough.  You don't want to have to re-order as it would be costly than just an extra 25 with initial order.

5.  Mail Invitations about 6-8 weeks before the ceremony.

6. On Respond Card - A Guest No. is very useful for guests that forget to sign their reply but mail back blank or missing information. Write on the guest list and on back of response card a special no.
(ex: #001, 002 etc.) Now you will know exactly who to contact on any situation to complete your
guest count. Great Tip!

7.  Wedding Announcements are sent to those people who were not invited to the ceremony or reception.  Mail Announcements day of or shortly after wedding.

8.  Thank you notes should be sent as soon as possible after receiving the gift - within 2-3 weeks about.

First and foremost ~ When viewing styles online Have a pen handy & remember!
All are so much nicer in person & of course to extend via internet;
you may not see as clear or be able to feel paper but mostl papers are your standard wedding invitation weight
range from fun colorful lightweight to heavy vellum & upscale layered papers.
YOU must visualize when viewing - call for a verbal description if helps; many times it does.
Unless colored papersor translucent:
~White; IOL names Soft White- an off white or cream paper
~Bright white; IOL labels as bright white  &
~Ecru; IOL names as ecru.
On translucents - can be two different shades 1) lighter & 2) heavier
Types of styles:
~Tri-fold is paper that opens first panel left to right the second panel right to left & center wording
~Z-fold (many are like this) is paper that is like accordian first panel, middle panel sometimes verse available
& last panel usually with wording
~Center fold opens from center and wording in center - these can also come with base card (non-fold 2nd piece)
~ Interlock is paper that opens from center but w/design meets into each other half of design
~Square Card is paper card (non-folds) size usually 7x7 but does vary
~Traditional Fold Card is paper printing on front & blank inside (great option to do 2nd print)
~Wrap is paper (usually translucent) that wraps around a base card (non-fold)
/ these can also come as Tri-fold translucents that have base card in center
When writing on translucent paper, permanent pen is recommended to prevent smearing
~Jacket is paper usually with a 2nd inner jacket usually attached with cord or ribbon - book like style.
~Marquis is paper card (non-fold) or that is sized when closed as a small square.
